This 2 feet of snow we're getting tomorrow is definitely going to put a damper on getting started on my new screen printing endeavors. I'll be snowed in with the X-Acto blades and new collage materials. Hopefully get started printing later this week or early next week.

New prospects.

Getting together with my friend Scott early next week to add a screenprinting element to my collages. After tonight's disasters with spray paint and paper stencils, I am VERY excited to see how these turn out. Putting a halt on finishing my painting and a few collages that are really close to being done to spend the majority of tomorrow completing a design I'm really stoked on and painting LP covers to screenprint it onto.

Finally decided it's time I start a blog for my artwork. I'll be posting my creative exploits here from time to time. These days I've been busy bouncing back and forth between making collages and paintings. I'll be posting pics of my work at varying stages so I can show some insight on my process. I'll be posting plenty of artwork from the vault as well.

I'm pretty excited to be collaging again. It's lots of fun juxtaposing images from a variety of sources like old encyclopedias and mens magazines. Most of the collages I've been working on are on old record covers. I'll be selling these on Etsy soon. Currently, I have about ten that I'm working on.

A smaller finished collage I just completed. 5"x 6" (above). "Mesmerized".

Just the first stage of a painting I've been working on over the past month or so. I'll show it in it's completed stage very soon. It's come a long way since this pic was taken. I've taken enough pictures of it in progress to turn into a complete animation!
